Gode Anum Sie Wuldor
The three forms of this phrase trace a single, unbroken truth through history. The Anglo-Saxon GODE ĀNUM SIE WULDOR comes from the early English church, when faith was lived openly in work, family, and community. The Latin Soli Deo Gloria later became a central confession of the Reformation, affirming that no achievement, success, or reputation ultimately belongs to man. Today, we say it simply as “To God alone be the glory.” Though the language has changed, the meaning has not. For The Billingsley Group, this progression reflects our primary mission: business matters, excellence matters, and results matter—but they are not the end goal. Our work is a platform, not the purpose. Our purpose is to live and love like Jesus, to be fishers of men, and to make disciples who live and love like Jesus. Every version of this phrase points to that same truth: whatever we build, whatever we steward, and whatever fruit comes from our labor, the glory belongs to God alone.

Marriage & Family
Marriage is a covenant designed by God to form deep unity, enduring trust, and shared purpose between a husband and wife. It requires intentional care, faithful investment, and a shared commitment to honoring Him. God calls men to lead with humility, strength, and sacrificial love, and calls women of faith to walk in wisdom, courage, and grace—together building a home anchored in Christ. Wherever you are in your marriage today, there is always opportunity to invest in what God has entrusted to you and see it grow stronger.
